Characters: Small colonies of cylindrical corallites which may originate from stolons or an encrusting base. Budding is both intra-and extratentacular. There are 4 orders of septa and large columella consisting of pinnules.

Colour: Brown with white septal margins.

Similar Species: None. All affinities are with azooxanthellate species.

Habitat: Shallow reef environments.

Abundance: Rare.
