Characters: Colonies are massive and meandroid, with short, sinuous valleys. Septa are thin, with pointed fine teeth. Columella centres are hardly distinguishable.

Colour: Usually light green, lavender or yellow, with valleys and walls of contrasting colours.

Similar Species: Isophyllia rigida, which is monocentric or has short valleys and more distinctive columellae.

Habitat: Shallow protected reef environments.

Abundance: Uncommon.
