Characters: Colonies form flat unifacial explanate plates with corallites in long, roughly concentric valleys. Valleys are closely (2-4 mm) spaced. Corallites are small, close together (5-8 per cm) and face upwards. Columellae are weakly developed.

Colour: Grey, grey-brown or green.

Similar Species: Agaricia undata. See also A. grahamae, which has larger valleys, and A. agaricites.

Habitat: Sheltered reef environments.

Abundance: Generally uncommon.
