Characters: Colonies are small, encrusting with cerioid corallites of uniform shape and dimensions, up to 4.4 mm diameter. Septa are equally spaced, of similar length or alternate. All have need rows of dentations. Columellae are large fused domes.

Colour: Pale orange to grey.

Similar Species: Pseudosiderastrea tayamai has more irregular corallites, smaller columellae and finer septa which have a greater tendency to fuse. Both species have been observed in close proximity.

Habitat: Shallow rock faces exposed to wave action.

Abundance: Presumably uncommon.
