Characters: Colonies are clusters of nodular clumps becoming submassive. Corallite are 1-1.2 mm diameter, excavated, with a septal pattern characterised by a fused triplet and 6 pali, 5 of which are large. Columellae are small. The walls are synapticular ridges.
Colour: Mottled yellowish green.
Similar Species: Porites annae may have similar colony formation and has similar corallites except for the triplet which is not normally fused and pali which are normally 5 large and 3 small.
Habitat: Reef habitats.
Abundance: Common.
