Characters: Colonies are composed of straight, slightly tapered branches. Corallites are deeply excavated and angular, with thin walls.
Colour: Grey or brown, usually with pale walls and darker centres.
Similar Species: Porites negrosensis, which has corallites with thicker, more rounded walls and more twisted branches.
Habitat: Shallow reef environments.
Abundance: Uncommon or rare.
