Characters: Colonies are encrusting. Corallites are widely separated and circular in outline. They have six exsert septa which are fused with the columella. A second cycle of septa is rudimentary. The coenosteum has fine blisters.

Colour: Unknown.

Similar Species: Madracis pharensis, which has ten primary septa.

Habitat: Deep water.

Abundance: Rare.
