Characters: Colonies are flat plates. Corallites are circular, with neat well defined walls. Septa are in two unequal cycles.
Colour: Dull brown.
Similar Species: Alveopora viridis, which does not have neat circular corallites.
Habitat: Lower reef slopes protected from wave action.
Abundance: Rare.
