Characters: Colonies are up to 1 m wide, submassive to encrusting with radiating or sinuous valleys. Septa are solid, thin, regularly spaced with smooth sides and edges, not conspicuously exsert. There is no ambulacral groove.

Colour: Pale cream or yellow.

Similar Species: Meandrina meandrites has similar skeletal characters but is much larger and forms thicker plates.

Habitat: Reef habitats.

Abundance: Uncommon.
