Characters: Colonies are laminar, either encrusting or in whorls or tiers, with or without radiating folds. Corallites are in irregular rows parallel to the margins. They are outwardly inclined, small and shallow. Columellae are conspicuous. Septo-costae are fine.
Colour: Cream or brown, often pale colours in the Red Sea.
Similar Species: Leptoseris mycetoseroides.
Habitat: Usually found on vertical or overhung walls.
Abundance: Uncommon.
Taxonomic Note: Similar to Pachyseris inattesa.
