Characters: Colonies consist of irregular banches with axial corallites and incipient axial corallites. Axial corallites extend the length of branches. The coenosteum is covered with small spinules.

Colour: Pale brown-grey with cream openings of corallites.

Similar Species: Superficially resembles Cyphastrea decadia and several Acropora species.

Habitat: Sandy reef flats and upper slopes.

Abundance: Rare.
