Characters: Colonies are small, consisting of clumps of finer-like branches. Corallites are small, septa are irregular, with ventral septa fused. There are 5 tall pali. Columella are style-like or absent. Walls and coenosteum are a mass of elaborated spinules.

Colour: Cream - reddish-brown.

Similar Species: Caribbean Porites may have similar growth form but these do not have similar corallites.

Habitat: Protected rubble substrates.

Abundance: Sometimes common.
