Characters: Colonies are clumps of fused branches which are usually tapered. Corallites are small and superficial.
Colour: Pale cream.
Similar Species: Porites cylindrica, which has thicker, less fused branches. Corallites are similar to those of P. rus and P. flavus.
Habitat: Shallow protected reef environments.
Abundance: Uncommon or rare.
