Characters: Colonies are thin basal laminae and twisted flattened branches. Corallites are aligned in irregular rows along the branches.
Colour: Pale brown.
Similar Species: Porites sillimaniana. Corallites are similar to those of P. cylindrica.
Habitat: Shallow protected reef environments.
Abundance: Uncommon.
